Amazon proxies
Amazon proxy for sellers: a static ISP IP keeps each Seller Central account on one address. Rotating residential for price research from US$1.50/GB.
View options and pricingWhat can Amazon Seller Central see when you sign in, and how do different network environments affect your account? This guide explains the role of the IP address in managing accounts across countries, the proxy types available and the limits set by platform rules.
Amazon has not published how it uses the login IP. It is generally thought that a login from a country or network type the account does not normally use (for example, a datacenter instead of home broadband) can trigger additional verification for the account holder.
For cross-border sellers, the login environment is not one thing but a combination of factors: whether the exit country matches the region the account normally uses, and whether the network is home broadband or a datacenter. Each of these can affect how smoothly later steps go.
In our hourly check on 23 October 2026, 15:47 UTC, the US exit was in Denver (AS7922) and the Germany exit in Köln (AS8422). One check per country, not an average; the next check will differ.
Amazon lets sellers run the US, European or Japanese stores from the country where they are based; it does not require the login location to match the store's country. What should stay stable is the login environment itself: the same country and the same network over time, consistent with the business address and identity you registered. Frequent changes of login country can lead to repeated verification.
The login IP is generally seen as one of the signals of where a login comes from. If you log in from the US one day and from Japan the next, the change may trigger additional verification.
For teams that travel or work from several offices, a practical approach is to give the account one fixed static ISP proxy and keep it for the long term.
Residential IPs are assigned by internet service providers (ISPs) to ordinary home broadband users and are labeled as home broadband networks in IP databases, while datacenter IPs are labeled as datacenters. The main differences:
Whether the IP is fixed. A static ISP proxy stays the same during the lease, and the exit address belongs to you for the whole term, which suits long-term stable logins. A rotating residential proxy switches its exit address with each connection or at set intervals, which suits checks that do not need a fixed address.
Different use cases. Signing in to Seller Central, managing ad accounts and running cross-border e-commerce stores need a stable login environment, so a static ISP proxy fits better. Price monitoring, competitor page browsing and regional market research, where you view public pages from different countries, fit rotating residential proxies better.
Different billing. Static ISP proxies are billed per IP and lease term, and each IP stays fixed for the term. Rotating residential proxies are billed by the traffic used: more flexible, but the exit changes every time.
Give your seller account its own static IP and keep it unchanged, so the account's login records always come from the same place.
Amazon's rule: one Seller Central account per region, unless you have a legitimate business need for a second account and all your accounts are in good standing; if one account falls out of good standing, all of them can be deactivated. A fixed IP per compliant store only keeps its login record stable; it does not make an account the policy does not allow acceptable.
“Native” describes whether three pieces of information point to the same country: the country where the IP is registered with the regional internet registry, the country of the network operator (the AS) that announces the IP range, and the country an exit lookup tool shows. If all three match, it is a native IP; if it is registered in country A but used in country B, it is a non-native IP. Native and non-native describe whether the place of registration matches the place of use — a different dimension from residential, datacenter, static and dynamic. Our Native IP Guide shows you how to check it yourself. Proxy302 does not treat “native” as a product promise.
Using proxies to view storefront prices, product pages and localized content on different marketplaces is common market research. In practice, you choose a residential proxy exit in the marketplace's country, browse the public pages as a visitor from that region, and learn local price ranges, competitor layouts and promotions.
Use different proxies for research and for account logins: a static ISP proxy for logging in, so the login environment stays stable, and rotating residential proxies for research, choosing exit countries as needed.
When you do this kind of research, follow the target site's public terms of access, keep the request rate moderate and look only at publicly available pages.
A proxy IP only changes the network address that Amazon sees. It cannot change account review results or restriction decisions. Amazon reviews accounts based on registration information, transaction records, feedback status and policy compliance. These decisions are made by the platform, and a new IP does not change an existing review result or restriction.
Amazon has no public requirement for a fixed IP. However, frequent changes of login location may mean more verifications. For an account that is used from several places, a static ISP proxy keeps the network environment the same at every login.
Signing in to Seller Central and running a store suit static ISP proxies, because the IP stays the same during the lease. Price monitoring, competitor page browsing and page checks across regions suit rotating residential proxies, because requests can rotate among several exits. For setup and choosing between the two, see the Static ISP Proxy Introduction.
An ordinary residential IP is allocated by a home broadband provider. A native IP also requires that the registration country, the country of the announcing network (AS) and the exit lookup result agree; it says nothing about whether the IP comes from home broadband or a datacenter. To check, see the Native IP Guide.
Yes. Browsing public storefront pages through a residential proxy exit in the marketplace's country is common market research. Use rotating residential proxies for it, separate from the static IP you use for account logins.
No. Proxy IPs only change the exit address. Account reviews, restrictions and suspension decisions are made by the platform based on the account's own information. Switching IPs cannot change these decisions. Following Amazon's seller policies and working within platform rules is the foundation of long-term account work.
A static ISP lease fits this routine: the IP stays fixed while the lease runs and does not rotate, so one address stays with one account or one tool. The page on Amazon proxies has the preset and the full setup, and the static ISP page describes the product. The table below is our latest hourly check of Amazon through exits in 8 countries.

Hourly check of the Proxy302 probe, 23 October 2026, 15:47 UTC: one request to Amazon per country through a dynamic residential exit, using the public Proxy302 entry. Only the first three octets of an IP are public. One sample per country, not an average; later checks will differ.
Open the static ISP page, choose the country, the term and the quantity, and the protocol, HTTP or SOCKS5. The protocol is fixed for each IP when you buy it.
Generate the IPs, then open My assets (the console page that holds everything you bought) and copy HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD. The Connect page shows a ready example with your own endpoint.
Enter the details in the browser profile, tool or phone that will use the IP.
Check the exit with https://ipinfo.io/json through the proxy. The country field should match the country you chose.
From mainland China, start the helper tool from the Connect page first and keep it open while you use the proxy.
A static ISP IP costs US$0.50 for one day and US$7.99 for 30 days, about US$0.27 per day, the same in every country. Availability changes daily and is shown on the order page. There is no free trial, and the smallest purchase is one IP for one day. An IP does not lift a restriction, undo a ban or raise a limit.
