The free Helper gives your computer the overseas path a proxy needs.
Proxy302 proxies are reached from an overseas network. On a mainland China connection the proxy test in your antidetect browser or the Chrome extension usually times out, even when the proxy itself is healthy.
The Helper is a free desktop app for Windows and macOS. It gives your computer an overseas path to the proxy and shows a local (LAN) address that your tools use instead of the proxy host. A VPN that already reaches overseas networks does the same job, so if you use one you can skip the Helper. Outside mainland China you need neither.
Sign in to the console, open Connect in the left menu and choose Helper tools.
Expected result A list of Helper downloads for Windows and macOS.
Download the build for your system and run it. If a firewall asks for permission, allow access.
When loading finishes, the Helper window shows that it started successfully.

Only the host and port change. Everything else stays as in the normal setup guide for your tool.
Antidetect browsers such as AdsPower: paste the Helper’s host and port into the proxy host box and keep your username and password.
Chrome extension: tick Use Helper in the extension settings. It fills in the local address for you.
iPhone and Android: join the same Wi-Fi as the computer that runs the Helper, then enter the Helper’s LAN address and port in the app.
Check Is the Helper still running? Did a firewall block it? Does the tool use the Helper’s address and port instead of the proxy host?
Fix Start the Helper, allow it through the firewall and re-enter host and port exactly as the Helper shows them.
Check The phone and the computer must be on the same Wi-Fi, and the computer’s firewall must allow local connections to the Helper.
Fix Move the phone to the same network, allow the Helper in the firewall and test again.
Check Was the Helper closed, or did the computer go to sleep?
Fix Reopen the Helper, minimize it and reconnect.
Check A character is missing or a space was copied with the username or password, or the asset has expired or run out of traffic.
Fix Copy the details again from My assets and check the asset status.
Stop when Do not keep retrying before the credentials and asset status are confirmed.

Yes. Any VPN that reaches overseas networks works. Then use the proxy host and port as normal.
The current console has no remote PC. A soft router is a do-it-yourself option you buy and configure yourself. The Helper or a VPN is the simpler route.
