Seller Central requires Two-Step Verification, and Amazon's help page lists what can reset “Don't ask for codes on this device”: changes to your IP address, signing in from different locations or networks, and proxy or VPN servers. Teams that work through a VPN that keeps switching servers, or from home, office and on the road, end up typing a code at almost every login. If you use a proxy at all, use one that never changes: a static ISP IP is the same address every day.
Amazon's Seller Code of Conduct allows one Seller Central account for each region you sell in, unless you have a legitimate business need for a second one and all your accounts are in good standing. Amazon's examples: separate brands run as separate businesses, manufacturing for two distinct companies, or an Amazon program that requires separate accounts. If one account falls out of good standing, Amazon may deactivate all of them. If you do run approved accounts, give each its own browser profile and its own IP so daily logins never mix.
Research is a different job. Amazon runs its stores and seller programs country by country — its seller site links to programs from the US, the UK and Germany to Japan, Brazil and the UAE — so rankings, prices and the Buy Box have to be read store by store, as a local shopper. Use rotating residential IPs in that store's country for this, never the IP your account signs in from.

Under Connection settings pick the Region you will keep (the preset proposes the United States first) and keep Term at 1 month. Set Quantity to the number of IPs you need (one for each Seller Central account, up to 100 at a time). Auto-renew IP shows Not yet available, so note the end date.
Check Your configuration on the right, press Review cost and generate and confirm. You land in My assets, where Copy next to each IP copies its full line, host:port:username:password.
In AdsPower, GoLogin, Dolphin Anty or Multilogin create one profile per Seller Central account and paste that account's line into the proxy field — HTTP, unless you bought SOCKS5. Set time zone and WebRTC to follow the proxy, then open ipinfo.io inside the profile.
Expected result ipinfo.io shows the static IP and the country you bought — the same address on every visit.
Sign in to Seller Central and, at the Two-Step Verification prompt, tick “Don't ask for codes on this device”. Keep using the same profile and browser: Amazon says clearing cookies or switching browsers can bring the code back.
Check Does the account's IP change between logins — a VPN, a rotating proxy, another browser or profile, cleared cookies?
Fix Keep the account in one profile on its static ISP IP, tick “Don't ask for codes on this device” and leave that profile's cookies alone.
Check Does the proxy type match what you bought (HTTP or SOCKS5), and was the whole host:port:username:password line pasted without spaces?
Fix Paste the line again, pick the matching type and re-test at ipinfo.io. If it still fails, open a ticket with a screenshot.
Check Are research scripts running through an account's static IP or through a datacenter IP?
Fix Move research to rotating residential IPs in the store's country, slow the request rate and keep account IPs for signing in only.
We haven't seen an Amazon rule that requires one, but Seller Central's Two-Step Verification forgets a trusted device when your IP address or network changes. If your connection changes often — a VPN, travel, several offices — one static ISP IP per account keeps every login on the same address.
Only with a legitimate business need, such as separate brands run as separate businesses, and only while every account is in good standing — that is Amazon's Seller Code of Conduct. A proxy doesn't change that rule; it only keeps the logins of approved accounts apart.
