Every hour we open Reddit through Proxy302 residential IPs in several countries. These are the latest checks.

Why Reddit needs a proxy
Reddit is blocked in mainland China: GreatFire's recent tests of reddit.com from there all failed. Brands, researchers and community managers who follow English-speaking communities from China need an exit in a country where Reddit works.
Reddit filters traffic by network. On 18 October 2026 we sent two logged-out curl requests to Reddit and got a block page both times: “Your request has been blocked due to a network policy”, which asks visitors to log in and scripts to use developer credentials and a unique, descriptive User-Agent, and “You've been blocked by network security”. Reddit accepts a signed-in account or an approved API script: its Responsible Builder Policy requires you to request access and get explicit approval before using Reddit data through the API.
Reddit's rules ask you to participate authentically in communities where you have a personal interest and not to spam or manipulate content. So each brand account or community manager keeps one account on one stable IP: a static ISP IP is a home-broadband address in the country you pick, fixed for the term and assigned only to you — a steady connection, not a way to multiply votes.

Why
Product
Static ISP proxy
Home-broadband trust, and the address never rotates
Billing
Per IP and term
The IP is yours for the term; the per-GB ISP option does not promise the same IP long term
How many IPs
One per Reddit account or API script
Each account keeps its own connection
Country
Where the community or audience is — the preset suggests the US or the UK
Keep the same country for every session
Protocol
SOCKS5 (preset) or HTTP
SOCKS5 for antidetect browsers; HTTP for PRAW scripts and the iPhone Wi-Fi proxy
IP changes
Never during the term
Renew in My assets before it ends to keep the same IP
The “Configure Reddit proxies” button at the top of this page opens the Reddit proxy setup: static ISP, billed per IP and term, with SOCKS5 selected. Choose the region and Quantity (one IP per account or script, up to 100) before you pay.
The “Configure Reddit proxies” button at the top of this page opens the static ISP page with Billing set to Per IP and term, the Social operations use case and Reddit proxy selected. Under Connection settings pick the Region, keep Term at 1 month and Protocol at SOCKS5 (choose HTTP for a PRAW script), set Quantity to the number of IPs you need (one for each account and script, up to 100 at a time), then click Review cost and generate.
Expected result The “Your configuration” panel shows Per IP and term, your region, the protocol and the quantity.
Copy each IP's details
Open My assets, choose View credentials on each IP and copy the endpoint (host:port), username and password. Note which account or script each IP belongs to.
One browser profile per account
In AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, GoLogin or Multilogin create a profile per account, choose SOCKS5, paste the details and set WebRTC to follow the proxy. Check the exit on an IP-check page, then log in at reddit.com.
Expected result The IP-check page shows the country you bought.
Before continuing Never vote or comment on the same thread from several accounts — Reddit's rules treat it as content manipulation.
Get API access approved, then run scripts with OAuth
Request Data API access first: Reddit's Responsible Builder Policy requires explicit approval before any API use, gives developers data access only for moderation and needs written approval for commercial use. Once approved, run the script with PRAW as in the example below: OAuth credentials, a unique and descriptive User-Agent, and the script's own static IP.
Run a PRAW script through the proxy

# pip install praw
import praw
import requests
session = requests.Session()
session.trust_env = False # ignore system and HTTPS_PROXY proxies
# This script's requests leave through its own static ISP IP
session.proxies.update({"https": "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT"})
# Credentials of an app Reddit has approved for Data API access
reddit = praw.Reddit(
client_id="CLIENT_ID",
client_secret="CLIENT_SECRET",
username="REDDIT_USERNAME",
password="REDDIT_PASSWORD",
user_agent="windows:com.example.mod-queue:v1.0 (by u/REDDIT_USERNAME)",
requestor_kwargs={"session": session},
)
print("Signed in as", reddit.user.me())
# A moderation task: list items waiting in your community's mod queue
for item in reddit.subreddit("YOUR_SUBREDDIT").mod.modqueue(limit=5):
print(item.fullname)
Use the credentials of an app Reddit has approved. PRAW sends every request through the requests session you pass in, and trust_env = False stops a system proxy or HTTPS_PROXY from overriding the session's proxy. Without a custom session, PRAW uses the HTTPS_PROXY environment variable instead.
Reddit shows "Your request has been blocked due to a network policy" or "You've been blocked by network security"
Check Are you logged out in this profile? For a script: is it unauthenticated, or is its User-Agent empty or generic?
Fix Log in from the account's own profile and static IP; run scripts only with Reddit-approved OAuth credentials and a unique, descriptive User-Agent.
reddit.com does not load in the profile
Check Open an IP-check page in the same profile. Is the exit in a country where Reddit works, and does the proxy type match the protocol you bought?
Fix Correct the proxy type, host and port, or switch to an IP in another country, then reload reddit.com.
Posts are removed as soon as they go up
Check Read the community's rules: does it limit links, new accounts or self-promotion?
Fix Post where the account takes part and follow each community's rules. A different IP does not change moderation.
Reddit proxy FAQ
Where is Reddit blocked?
Reddit is blocked in mainland China. Start the Proxy302 helper tool (Connect → Helper tools) first, then use a static ISP IP in a country where Reddit works. The helper tool shows a local address and port: enter those instead of the proxy host and port, with the same username and password. The live panel on this page shows which of our test countries reach Reddit right now.
Why does Reddit say I've been blocked by a network policy?
Reddit shows that page to traffic it does not accept from your network. It asks people to log in and asks scripts to use developer credentials and a descriptive User-Agent. A signed-in account on its own static IP, or a script with Reddit-approved OAuth credentials, is the fix.
Yes, once Reddit has approved your API access. Pass a requests session with the proxy set, as in the example, or set the HTTPS_PROXY environment variable.

Twitter (X) proxy for brand, client and regional accounts: one static ISP IP per account in the country you choose, SOCKS5 or HTTP — also where X is blocked.
Dedicated static ISP proxies: a residential-grade IP that is yours alone and stays the same for the whole term. For social accounts, stores and AI tools. HTTP and SOCKS5.

Reddit block pages (our live checks)
Product observation · Checked:
On 2026-10-18 we sent two logged-out curl requests from one network. https://www.reddit.com/wiki/api returned “Your request has been blocked due to a network policy”, asking visitors to log in, scripts to register or sign in with developer credentials, and for a non-empty, unique and descriptive User-Agent; https://www.reddit.com/r/redditdev/new.json returned “You've been blocked by network security”.
Two requests from one network; Reddit does not publish how it decides which networks to block.
Rule 2: participate authentically in communities where you have a personal interest, and do not spam or engage in disruptive behaviours, including content manipulation.
States that you must request access and get explicit approval before accessing any Reddit data through the API, that developers' data access is granted solely for moderation actions, and that commercial use needs explicit written approval (article updated 17 October 2026).
PRAW relies on requests and honours HTTPS_PROXY; a custom requests Session can be passed with requestor_kwargs.
Proxy302 static ISP configuration
Product observation · Checked:
Read in the console source on 2026-10-18: the static ISP page bills Per IP and term, offers HTTP or SOCKS5, shows Auto-renew IP as Not yet available and states that static IPs never rotate; the Reddit preset selects SOCKS5 and suggests the US or the UK. The backend catalogue lists these IPs as dedicated static residential IPs.
Budget rotating residential from US$1.50 per GB; account credit in PTC at 1 PTC = US$1.00, as published on the pricing page (checked against the production catalogue on 2026-10-09).
