Why Discord needs a proxy
Discord has been blocked in Russia and Turkey since October 2024 and has never been available in mainland China. Web3 teams, NFT communities, Midjourney users and gaming clans in those countries need an exit somewhere Discord works — a proxy restores the web app, file downloads and notifications without putting the whole device on a VPN.
Discord links accounts that sign in from the same IP. Community managers and moderators who run several accounts from one office line often see all of them asked for phone verification once one is reported. A dedicated static IP per account removes that link.
Bots need a stable address. Discord's gateway keeps a long-lived connection, and Discord temporarily blocks any IP that sends 10,000 invalid API requests within 10 minutes — so bots sharing one IP can take each other down. A static ISP IP never rotates mid-session and is yours alone.

One browser profile per account

On iPhone
Settings → Wi-Fi → tap (i) next to your network → Configure Proxy → Manual. Enter server and port, turn on Authentication and enter username and password. Android's Wi-Fi proxy has no password field — use a browser profile or a proxy app instead.

Quick fixes
Every account is asked for a phone number
Check Do several accounts share one IP, or does an account keep changing IPs?
Fix Give each account its own static IP and keep it. Don't log accounts in through rotating IPs.
The bot gets 429 "You are being rate limited"
Check Do several bots or scripts share the same IP?
Fix Put each bot on its own static IP and handle 401/403/429 responses instead of retrying blindly — 10,000 invalid requests in 10 minutes gets the IP blocked.
