Instagram Proxies: One Static Residential IP per Account

One fixed home-broadband IP per Instagram account — for client accounts, brand accounts and markets where Instagram is blocked.

Why Instagram needs a proxy

Instagram is blocked in mainland China and in Russia. GreatFire's recent tests of instagram.com from mainland China all failed, and OONI measurements from Russia in the 30 days to 18 October 2026 were mostly anomalous or confirmed blocks; Russia designated Instagram's owner Meta an extremist organisation in 2022. Creators, sellers and agencies there need an exit in a country where Instagram works.

Agencies log many client and brand accounts in from one office line, so every login arrives from the same address. Giving each account its own static IP and its own browser profile or phone keeps those logins apart, and each account keeps the location it is known for.

Limits stay per account. Scheduling tools that publish through Instagram's API can post at most 100 times per account in a rolling 24 hours, and a proxy does not change that. What a static ISP IP does change is where the account logs in from: a home-broadband address in the country you choose, fixed for your whole term and assigned only to you.

Set up Instagram proxies in 4 steps

  1. Open the Instagram setup

The “Configure Instagram proxies” button at the top of this page opens the static ISP page with Billing set to Per IP and term, the Social operations use case and Instagram proxy selected. Under Connection settings pick the Region, keep Term at 1 month and Protocol at SOCKS5, set Quantity to the number of IPs you need (one for each account, up to 100 at a time), then click Review cost and generate.

Expected result The “Your configuration” panel shows Per IP and term, your region, SOCKS5 and the quantity.

  2. Copy each IP's details

Open My assets, choose View credentials on each IP and copy the endpoint (host:port), username and password. Label each IP with the account it belongs to.

  3. One browser profile per account

In AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, GoLogin or Multilogin create a profile per account, choose SOCKS5, paste the details and set WebRTC to follow the proxy. Check the exit on an IP-check page, then log in at instagram.com.

Expected result The IP-check page shows the country you bought.

Before continuing Keep each account in its own profile; never log two accounts in through the same IP.

  4. On iPhone

Buy the IP with Protocol set to HTTP, then open Settings → Wi-Fi → (i) next to your network → Configure Proxy → Manual, enter server and port, turn on Authentication and enter username and password. Every account in the app uses that one proxy, so keep one account per phone.

Quick fixes

instagram.com won't log in from the profile

Check Open an IP-check page in the same profile. Is the exit in a country where Instagram works, and does the proxy type match the protocol you bought?

Fix Correct the proxy type, host and port, clear the stuck login once, and sign in again from the same profile.

"Try again later" or likes and follows are limited

Check Is a tool liking, following or commenting for the account? Do several accounts share the IP?

Fix Stop the automation, move each account to its own IP and profile, and act at a normal human pace.

Instagram sends a login code every time

Check Does the profile clear its cookies, or does the account log in from different IPs or countries?

Fix Use a persistent profile and keep the same static IP for every session.

Scheduled posts stop publishing

Check Has the account reached the API limit of 100 published posts in 24 hours?

Fix Spread the calendar out; a different IP does not reset the limit.

Instagram proxy FAQ

Where is Instagram blocked?

Instagram is blocked in mainland China and in Russia. With a static ISP IP in a country where it works, your profile or phone connects from there; from mainland China, start the Proxy302 helper tool (Connect → Helper tools) first. The helper tool shows a local address and port: enter those instead of the proxy host and port, with the same username and password. Test one IP from your own network before you buy more. The live panel on this page shows which of our test countries reach Instagram right now.

How many Instagram accounts can I run on one proxy?

One. Buy as many static IPs as you have accounts and keep each account on its own IP and profile.

Do I need mobile proxies for Instagram?

Proxy302 sells static ISP, rotating residential and datacenter proxies, not mobile-carrier IPs. For accounts, a static ISP IP gives each one a fixed home-broadband address — the same kind of connection a phone uses on home Wi-Fi.

Can I use it in the Instagram app on iPhone?

Yes. Buy the IP with HTTP and enter it as the Wi-Fi proxy with Authentication on. All accounts in the app share that proxy, so keep one account per phone.

Does a proxy raise Instagram's limits?

No. Limits apply per account — for example, 100 API-published posts in 24 hours. A proxy only controls where the account connects from.
