YouTube Proxy: A Static Residential IP for Each Channel Account

Run YouTube Studio from a fixed home-broadband IP — one for each Google account that manages a channel.

Every hour we open YouTube through Proxy302 residential IPs in several countries. These are the latest checks.

Only the first three octets of each IP are shown. Checked on dynamic residential IPs through the public Proxy302 entry.

Why YouTube needs a proxy

YouTube is blocked in mainland China and throttled in Russia. GreatFire's latest test of youtube.com from mainland China failed. In Russia, Roskomnadzor began throttling YouTube in July 2024, and OONI measurements from Russia in the 30 days to 18 October 2026 still show anomalies on a large share of tests. Uploads, live streams and Studio work need an exit in a country where YouTube is not restricted.

Channel permissions let you give people access to a channel's data, tools and features in YouTube Studio without handing over the Google Account login, with roles from Manager and Editor to Viewer. Each teammate signs in with their own Google account, from their own browser profile and IP. An invite expires after 30 days if nobody accepts it.

Limits belong to the account and the API project, not to the IP. YouTube's Terms forbid accessing the service with robots or scrapers and paying for views, and the Data API gives each project a default of 100 uploads a day. A static ISP IP keeps a channel account's sign-ins in one stable, home-broadband place; it does not raise any limit.

Set up YouTube proxies in 4 steps

  1. Open the YouTube setup

The “Configure YouTube proxies” button at the top of this page opens the static ISP page with Billing set to Per IP and term, the Social operations use case and YouTube proxy selected. Under Connection settings pick the Region, keep Term at 1 month and Protocol at SOCKS5, set Quantity to the number of IPs you need (one for each Google account, up to 100 at a time), then click Review cost and generate.

Expected result The “Your configuration” panel shows Per IP and term, your region, SOCKS5 and the quantity.

  2. Copy each IP's details

Open My assets, choose View credentials on each IP and copy the endpoint (host:port), username and password.

  3. One browser profile per Google account

In AdsPower, Dolphin Anty, GoLogin or Multilogin create a profile per Google account, choose SOCKS5, paste the details and set WebRTC to follow the proxy. Check the exit on an IP-check page, then sign in at studio.youtube.com.

Expected result The IP-check page shows the country you bought, and Studio loads your channel.

Before continuing Don't run view, download or comment scripts through these profiles — YouTube's Terms forbid automated access.

  4. Invite the team, don't share the password

In YouTube Studio open Settings → Permissions and invite each teammate's own Google account with the role they need. Each teammate then works from their own profile and IP. On iPhone, buy that IP with HTTP and enter it under Settings → Wi-Fi → (i) → Configure Proxy → Manual, with Authentication on.

Quick fixes

YouTube shows "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot"

Check Are you signed out in this profile, or is the exit a datacenter or shared IP?

Fix Sign in to the channel's Google account in its own profile on the static ISP IP, and stop any download or view scripts.

Videos buffer or uploads crawl

Check Open an IP-check page in the same profile. Is the traffic really leaving through the proxy, in a country where YouTube is not restricted?

Fix Fix the proxy in the profile or pick an IP in another country, then retry the upload.

The Data API returns quotaExceeded

Check How many uploads and calls has the project made today? The default is 100 uploads per project per day.

Fix Spread uploads out or request more quota through YouTube's quota extension form; a different IP does not reset the quota.

YouTube proxy FAQ

Where is YouTube blocked or slowed down?

YouTube is blocked in mainland China and has been throttled in Russia since July 2024. With a static ISP IP in a country where it is not restricted, your browser profile connects from there; from mainland China, start the Proxy302 helper tool (Connect → Helper tools) first. The helper tool shows a local address and port: enter those instead of the proxy host and port, with the same username and password. Test one IP from your own network before you buy more.

Can my team share one channel login?

Use channel permissions instead: invite each person's own Google account as Manager, Editor or Viewer. Nobody needs the owner's password, and each person can keep their own IP.

Will a proxy get my videos more views?

No. YouTube's Terms forbid automated access and paying for views, likes or dislikes. A proxy only decides where your own account connects from.

Static or rotating proxies for YouTube?

Static for every account that signs in to Studio. Rotating residential only for checking how your public videos and ads appear in other countries, signed out.

Does a proxy raise my YouTube API quota?

No. Quota is counted per project: by default 100 uploads and 100 searches a day, plus 10,000 units for other endpoints.
