Claude proxy
Claude proxy on a static ISP IP: Claude Code over HTTP (no SOCKS), one IP per person, an address you can allowlist — and Anthropic's region rules.
View options and pricingAnthropic names three reasons for a ban. Find yours, then appeal, save your data and sort out your subscription.
Anthropic’s help center names three reasons for banning a Claude account: repeated violations of its Usage Policy, creating the account from an unsupported location, and violations of its Terms of Service. A banned account shows a restricted screen when you log in, with the appeal form and the options to export your data or delete the account.
Location is the one people run into most. Anthropic says only people physically located in a supported location can create and use Claude accounts. Sign-up needs a phone number from a supported location that can receive texts — VoIP numbers, Google Voice, numbers created in apps and landlines are refused, and one number verifies at most three accounts. Its Supported Regions Policy (the page shows an effective date of 12 November 2026) also treats companies incorporated, headquartered or majority-controlled in an unsupported region as unsupported, wherever their staff sit.
The Usage Policy adds account rules of its own: no coordinating violations across several accounts, no using a different account after a ban — a new one, an existing one or someone else’s — no giving people access in breach of the Supported Regions Policy, no stolen or unauthorized payment methods, and no reselling Claude through unauthorized means, such as routing other people’s requests through a consumer subscription. The Consumer Terms require you to be 18 or older and forbid sharing your login or API key or letting anyone else use your account.
| Item | What it covers | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Repeated Usage Policy violations | What you ask Claude to do. Anthropic warns users when it believes their prompts break the policy | Appeal if it was a mistake; a warning can be disputed by email, as the help article explains |
| Account created from an unsupported location | Where you were when you signed up, and the phone number you verified with | Appeal if you really were in a supported country. Anthropic doesn’t support creating or using an account from an unsupported one |
| Terms of Service violations | Being under 18, a shared login or API key, an account someone else uses | Appeal if it was a mistake, and give each person their own account from now on |
| Organization on hold | Your own account is fine, but an organization you belong to was paused for unusual activity | Click Request a review next to that organization on the restricted screen |
Reasons and remedies as Anthropic’s help center and Consumer Terms describe them on 21 October 2026. Only Anthropic can lift a ban, through its appeal.
Go to claude.ai and sign in with the account that was banned. The appeal form only opens while you are logged in, on the same screen as the export and delete options.
Explain why you think the ban is wrong, with facts Anthropic can check: where you were when you signed up and used Claude, who uses the account and what you use it for.
Free, Pro and Max users can export their chats from the same screen even while banned. Depending on the violation, the export may be limited.
Anthropic gives no time frame, and its help article says response times are currently longer than normal.
Before continuing Don’t open another account while you wait: the Usage Policy counts using a different account after a ban as a violation of its own.
If Anthropic ends your access because you broke the Consumer Terms, the Terms say you are not entitled to a refund of your subscription. If it ends a subscription for any other reason and you subscribed on the website, it refunds the fees for the rest of the term pro rata.
Refund requests start inside Claude: your name in the lower left → Get help → Send us a message → Claude Refund Request. In the EEA and the UK you can get a refund within 14 days of purchase, prorated to your use. A plan bought in the iOS app is refunded only by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com — and a refund doesn’t cancel the subscription, so cancel it as well.
A proxy changes your network exit, not Anthropic’s rules. The location rule is about where you physically are, and the company rules are about where your employer is registered and who controls it — none of that moves with an IP address. Anthropic’s help center doesn’t list VPNs or IP addresses among its ban reasons either.
Where you may use Claude, a fixed IP gives you consistency: one fixed address in one country for each person, instead of a VPN exit that many strangers share and that changes between sessions. Claude Enterprise can also limit access to an IP allowlist, which only works with addresses that don’t change.
Proxy302’s static ISP IPs are leased per IP and term — US$7.99 for 30 days, the same price in every country — and stay the same for your whole lease. Each IP keeps the protocol you pick at purchase, HTTP or SOCKS5. There is no free trial and no auto-renewal: renew in My assets before the term ends to keep the same IP.
Anthropic names three reasons: repeated Usage Policy violations, creating the account from an unsupported location, and Terms of Service violations such as a shared account or being under 18. When you appeal, its Safeguards team looks into why the account was disabled.
No. Only an appeal can lift a ban, and none of the three reasons depends on your IP. Opening another account to keep using Claude breaks the Usage Policy as well.
Anthropic doesn’t list VPNs or IP addresses as a ban reason. It does say only people physically located in a supported location can create and use Claude accounts — what counts is where you are, not the address you connect from.
Anthropic gives no time frame. Its help article says response times are currently longer than normal.
On Free, Pro and Max, yes: log in to the banned account and export your data from the restricted screen. For some violations the export is limited.
Not necessarily. If your organization uses IP allowlisting, requests from addresses outside the list are blocked. Ask your IT administrator whether your current IP is on it.
No. The Consumer Terms forbid sharing your login or letting anyone else use your account. Each person needs their own account — and, behind a proxy, their own IP.
