What AdsPower is and why pair it with a proxy

AdsPower is an antidetect browser for running many separate browser profiles. Each profile can have its own proxy, which is where Proxy302 fits.

Each profile or window should leave through its own IP. Proxy302 supplies that IP over HTTP or SOCKS5, and the browser only needs the four connection fields: host, port, username and password.

Set up Proxy302 in AdsPower

  1. Generate the proxy in Proxy302

    Choose a product, region and protocol, then copy host, port, username and password from My assets.

  2. Add Proxy302 in AdsPower proxy management

    AdsPower lists Proxy302 under Proxy > Configuration. Pick it as the provider and enter your Proxy302 details.

  3. Run the connection test

    A passing test means the credentials work. If it fails, re-copy the four fields and check the protocol.

  4. Attach it to a browser profile

    When you create a profile, choose a custom proxy and Proxy302. Tick proxy management to reuse the preset, or leave it unticked to fill a proxy for that profile only. Existing profiles can be edited one by one or in bulk.

  5. Open the profile and check the IP

    Visit an IP-check page; the country should match your Proxy302 purchase.

Which host and port do I use?

Use exactly what the asset detail page shows. AdsPower’s guide uses proxy.proxy302.com:2222 only as an example.

Do I need a separate proxy for each profile?

Use one fixed IP per account that must keep a stable identity. For research and scraping, one rotating residential pool can serve many sessions.

Which protocol should I choose, HTTP or SOCKS5?

Pick the one your tool supports and match the protocol shown on the asset. HTTP is the safe default; use SOCKS5 when the tool asks for it.

The proxy test fails. What should I check?

Re-copy host, port, username and password without extra spaces, confirm the protocol matches the asset, and make sure the asset has not expired or run out of traffic.
