What Hubstudio is and why pair it with a proxy

Hubstudio is a Chinese-first multi-account browser with separate environments.

Each account or environment should use its own IP. Proxy302 supplies the IP over HTTP or SOCKS5, and you enter the host, port, username and password. Copy them from "My assets" in the Proxy302 console.

How to set up a proxy in Hubstudio

  1. Get the proxy details

    In the Proxy302 console choose the proxy type, country and protocol and generate it. Then open My assets (every proxy you buy is listed there) and copy the host, port, username and password.

  2. Create an environment

    Open 环境 > 我的环境 > 新建环境 (Environment > My Environments > New Environment). Enter the environment name (required) and choose the browser core and operating system.

  3. Choose Custom proxy settings

    In 代理设置 (Proxy settings), choose 自定义 (Custom).

  4. Enter the proxy details

    Select the 代理类型 (proxy type: socks5, http, https or ssh). Then enter 代理主机 (host), 代理端口 (port), 代理账号 (account) and 代理密码 (password).

  5. Check the proxy and finish

    Click 检测代理 (check proxy). Once it passes, click 完成 (finish). To change an existing environment, edit it and use 修改代理 (change proxy).

  6. Start and verify

    Start the profile and confirm the IP shown in the browser matches the one Proxy302 generated.

Which proxy type should I choose in Hubstudio?

Hubstudio lists socks5, http, https and ssh. Choose the one that matches the protocol shown for your proxy under "My assets" in the Proxy302 console, which is HTTP or SOCKS5.

What if the proxy check fails?

Copy the host, port, username and password again from "My assets", without extra spaces. Check that the proxy type matches, and that the proxy has not expired. Then click 检测代理 (check proxy) again.

Do I need one proxy per environment?

For an account that should keep the same IP over time, yes. Give each such account its own Proxy302 static ISP IP: one fixed IP per account.
