How to Use a Proxy302 Proxy in DICloak: Step-by-Step Setup

Save a Proxy302 proxy in DICloak and assign it to a profile in four steps.

What DICloak is and why pair it with a proxy

DICloak is a multi-account browser with separate browser profiles.

Each account or profile should use its own IP. Proxy302 supplies the IP over HTTP or SOCKS5, and you enter the host, port, username and password in the proxy form.

How to set up a proxy in DICloak

  1. Get the proxy details

In the Proxy302 console choose the proxy type, country and protocol and generate it. Then open My assets (every proxy you buy is listed there) and copy the host, port, username and password.

  2. Open Proxies and click 'Create Proxy'

In the left menu open Proxies and click 'Create Proxy'.

  3. Choose Custom Proxy

Choose Custom Proxy. The other creation method is API Extraction, which is for providers that give an extraction link.

  4. Fill in the form and check the proxy

Fill in Proxy Type (HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5), Proxy Host, Proxy Port, Proxy Account, Proxy Password and an optional Remarks, using the details from 'My assets' in the Proxy302 console. Use the check button in the form ('Checking Proxy'), then click 'Confirm'.

  5. Assign the proxy to a profile

Open the profile: Profiles > More Actions > Edit Profile > Edit Proxy. Set Proxy mode to 'Saved Proxies' and pick the proxy you just saved.

  6. Start and verify

Start the profile and confirm the IP shown in the browser matches the one Proxy302 generated.

DICloak proxy FAQ

Which proxy type should I choose in DICloak?

DICloak supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Proxy302 proxies work over HTTP and SOCKS5, so match the type to what 'My assets' shows for your proxy.

What if the proxy check fails or the proxy does not work?

Copy the host, port, username and password again from 'My assets' and make sure there are no spaces. Check that the Proxy Type matches the protocol shown there, and that the proxy has not expired. Then run 'Checking Proxy' again.

Do I need one proxy per profile?

For an account that should keep the same IP over time, yes. Give each such account its own static ISP IP, so one account uses one fixed IP.
