No latency number after the test
Check The proxy may be HTTP rather than SOCKS5, or the port is wrong.
Fix Check the protocol and port on the asset, edit the profile and test again.
Run a Proxy302 SOCKS5 proxy on your Android phone.
v2rayNG is an open-source proxy client for Android. It works with SOCKS5 proxies only, so you need a Proxy302 asset using the SOCKS5 protocol: rotating residential, static residential or datacenter.
If the asset is HTTP, generate or buy a SOCKS5 one: the protocol is set when a proxy is created, and My assets has no protocol switch. A datacenter IP bought as HTTP stays HTTP: use Postern (below) or buy a SOCKS5 datacenter IP. Datacenter IPs support HTTP and SOCKS5 since 17 October 2026. Proxy302 also has its own Android app under Tools & checks > Mobile app.
| Item | Rotating residential (SOCKS5) | Static and datacenter IPs (SOCKS5) |
|---|---|---|
| Alias | Any name you like | Any name you like |
| Address | proxy.proxy302.com | The address on the asset |
| Port | 3333 | The port on the asset |
| Username and password | From My assets | From My assets |
In My assets, Copy copies the whole line host:port:username:password so you can read each part from it.
In the console open My assets and make sure the proxy uses SOCKS5. Keep host, port, username and password at hand.
Open v2rayNG, tap + and choose Type manually [Socks].
Enter the alias, address, port, username and password as in the table, then tap the check mark to save.
Expected result The new profile appears in the list.
Select the profile and tap the connect button at the bottom right. Allow the VPN permission if Android asks. The button turns green when the proxy is on.
Expected result The button is green.
Tap the test button at the bottom left. A latency number means the proxy is reachable.
Expected result A delay in milliseconds is shown.
Open a browser, visit ipinfo.io and compare the IP and country with the proxy you bought.
Expected result ipinfo.io shows the proxy’s IP and country.
v2rayNG cannot use HTTP proxies. For an HTTP datacenter IP, add it to Postern as a proxy of type HTTP with the same address, port, username and password, then route traffic through it. Menus differ between Postern versions, so follow the app’s own screens. Or buy a SOCKS5 datacenter IP and use v2rayNG as above.
A direct connection to the proxy usually fails from mainland China. A phone cannot use 「一键加速」 (One-click boost), so use the Helper’s manual setup. On a computer, run Helper 2.2 (Tools & checks page) and keep it open. In the Helper window, open the manual setup and tick 「让局域网里的手机、别的电脑也能用」 (let phones and other computers on the network use it); if Windows asks about its firewall, choose Allow access. Put the phone on the same Wi-Fi and, in v2rayNG, enter the LAN address shown in the Helper window and the SOCKS5 port for your entry (see the Helper guide). Keep the username and password the same as the asset.

Stop when Do not keep retrying before the credentials and asset status are confirmed.
Check The proxy needs an overseas network.
Fix Open the Helper and click 「一键加速」 (One-click boost) (or use a VPN).
Its manual proxy profile is a SOCKS profile. For HTTP proxies use another client such as Postern.
Rotating gateway: 3333 for SOCKS5. Static and datacenter IPs keep the port shown on the asset.
No, v2rayNG is Android-only. On iPhone, use Shadowrocket.
