Why LinkedIn ad checks need a local IP
Location is required on every LinkedIn campaign, and advertisers pick one of three modes: permanent location from the member's profile, recent location from the member's IP address on short-term visits, or both. Each campaign also needs at least 300 members and one of 35 profile languages. So who sees a B2B campaign depends on where members live and where they connect from — not on where your team sits.
LinkedIn's Ad Library is public: ads that ran after 1 June 2023 are searchable by company or advertiser, payer, keyword, country and date range, and stay listed for a year after their last impression. For ads aimed at the European Union it also shows impressions, targeting and run dates — the fastest way to see what a competitor runs in a country.
Neither tool shows what happens after the click. For website-visit and conversion campaigns, open the landing page from each target country and check what that market gets: the consent banner, form fields, prices, the sales contact and any redirect to another regional site.

Open the setup
Click Configure LinkedIn Ads proxies below. The console opens Rotating Residential Proxies with Use case: Ad verification and the LinkedIn Ads proxy preset — Premium line, HTTP, United States suggested.
Buy traffic for the line
Under Line keep Premium, or switch to Budget to pay less per GB. Open Add traffic, pick a package or enter Custom GB, and click Buy selected package. Purchases start at 1 GB.
Pick the market and generate
In Connection settings leave Exit mode on Choose region / sticky IP. Choose Region, then State and City if the campaign targets a city. Click Review cost and generate: Proxy302 checks that the new proxy really exits in that country before handing it over. Repeat for each market.
Search the Ad Library from that country
Put the proxy into a fresh browser profile and confirm the exit on an IP-check page. Open linkedin.com/ad-library, choose the country, search the competitor or a keyword and set a date range. For EU markets, More adds filters for impressions and targeting.
Open the landing page like a prospect
Paste your ad's destination URL into the same profile instead of clicking the ad, then fill in nothing — just check the consent banner, the form fields that country gets, prices, the sales contact and whether you are sent to another regional site. Repeat with the next market's proxy.

Fix Use a fresh profile per market and set the browser language to the market's; if it still doesn't change, fix the site's regional routing.

Fix Slow down and generate a fresh proxy for the next batch.

Check Is supply short for that country on this line right now?
Fix Try again, or switch Line between Premium and Budget and generate again; each line uses its own traffic. The proxy is only delivered once the exit country matches.
LinkedIn Ads proxy FAQ
Does LinkedIn use my IP address for ad targeting?
For recent location, yes: that option targets a member's IP address on short-term visits, while permanent location uses the profile. That's why both a member's profile and IP matter for who sees an ad.
How can I see a competitor's LinkedIn ads in another country?
Search the company in LinkedIn's Ad Library and filter by country and date range. Ads appear shortly after their first impression and stay for a year after the last one.
Rotating or static proxies for LinkedIn ads?
Rotating residential for checks — a fresh local home IP per market. A logged-in LinkedIn profile you keep for a market belongs on one static ISP IP; see LinkedIn proxies for that setup.
Can I check a city, not just a country?
Yes. Choose Region, State and City in Connection settings. The city list depends on the country and the line.
HTTP or SOCKS5?
The LinkedIn Ads preset starts on HTTP, which works in proxy extensions and scripts. Switch Protocol to SOCKS5 if your antidetect browser prefers it.
