How to Use a Proxy302 Proxy in VMLogin: Setup Guide

Add a Proxy302 proxy to a VMLogin browser profile in four steps.

What VMLogin is and why pair it with a proxy

VMLogin is a multi-account browser with separate browser profiles.

Each account or profile should use its own IP. Proxy302 supplies the IP over HTTP or SOCKS5, and you enter its host, port, username and password in the profile.

How to set up a proxy in VMLogin

  1. Get the proxy details

In the Proxy302 console choose the proxy type, country and protocol and generate it. Then open My assets (every proxy you buy is listed there) and copy the host, port, username and password.

  2. Create a new browser

In the VMLogin client, click 'New browser' and enter a Display name.

  3. Enable the proxy server

Open 'Set proxy server' and turn on 'Enable proxy server'.

  4. Enter the proxy details

Choose the proxy type, HTTP Proxy or Socks 5 Proxy, then enter IP, Port, Username and Password. 'Paste proxy info' also accepts IP:Port:Username:Password.

  5. Test and save

Click 'Test proxy'. When it passes, click 'Save', then 'Save profile'. To change an existing profile, right-click it and choose 'Edit Proxy Configuration'.

  6. Start and verify

Start the profile and confirm the IP shown in the browser matches the one Proxy302 generated.

VMLogin proxy FAQ

Which proxy type should I choose in VMLogin?

VMLogin supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5. Choose HTTP Proxy or Socks 5 Proxy to match the protocol shown for your proxy under 'My assets' in the Proxy302 console.

What should I do if 'Test proxy' fails?

Copy host, port, username and password again from 'My assets', without extra spaces. Check that the proxy type matches the protocol, and that the proxy has not expired.

Do I need one proxy per profile?

If an account should keep the same IP over time, give it its own static ISP IP from Proxy302. That means one fixed IP per account.
