What IP to Use for TikTok Accounts: Static IP or Rotating IP

Which IP to use for TikTok accounts, static or rotating? How to choose, how to pick the country, how to check the exit before you log in, and what an IP cannot fix.

What TikTok's terms say first

TikTok's Terms of Service (last updated 1 December 2025) contain two clauses that bear directly on running accounts:

• Section 4 requires you to keep your password confidential, not to disclose it to any third party, and to be responsible for all activity under your account.

• Section 5 prohibits using automated scripts to collect information or otherwise interact with the service.

So whatever IP you use, the account should be operated by a person in the app, on the web or through an approved tool, and the password should not be shared. These two clauses do not differ with the network exit.

Static IP or rotating IP

The test is simple: does the task need the same account to sign in repeatedly from the same exit? If it does, use a static IP. If you only look at public content and do not log in to an account, a rotating IP costs less.

How to choose the exit country

Choose the market the account is aimed at. For a shop account aimed at US viewers, for example, choose a US exit. Once you have chosen, keep it, and do not change it often for testing. Whether a platform can be reached from a country changes over time, so you can first look at our hourly platform access check, which lists how 38 platforms respond through exits in each country.

Check the exit before you log in

Different lookup services can report a different city, so go by the country. The guide on how to check your proxy's IP, country and ISP goes into more detail; the short version is below.

Check the exit before you log in: steps

  1. Step 1

    Request https://ipinfo.io/json through the proxy.

  2. Step 2

Check that the country field is the country you bought, and see which network the org field shows.

  3. Step 3

When the country matches, log in to TikTok in the browser profile or on the phone set up for that account.

One account, one IP

• Give each account its own IP, kept in its own browser profile or phone, and do not log two accounts in on the same IP.

• Operate by hand, or publish through an approved tool, and do not automate with scripts.

• Do not share passwords, and let only the person responsible use the account.

• An IP cannot lift a restriction or reverse an enforcement action. When an account is restricted, follow the appeal process TikTok gives you.

How to do it with Proxy302

A static residential ISP proxy is a fixed IP that is yours alone for the whole lease and does not rotate, which suits an account that should keep the same exit. The TikTok proxy page has the preset and the full setup, and the static residential proxies page describes the product. The table below is our latest hourly check of TikTok, with the network of the exit in each of eight countries and the response time of the site.

Hourly check of the Proxy302 probe, 22 October 2026, 14:18 UTC: one request to TikTok per country through a dynamic residential exit, using the public Proxy302 entry. Only the first three octets of an IP are public. One sample per country, not an average; later checks will differ.

How to do it with Proxy302: steps

  1. Step 1

In the console, choose static ISP and the country the account is aimed at, then choose the term and the quantity, one IP for each account.

  2. Step 2

Choose the protocol, HTTP or SOCKS5. You choose it at purchase, and each IP carries only one protocol.

  3. Step 3

After you generate, open My assets and copy HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD. The Connect page shows a ready example with your own endpoint.

  4. Step 4

Enter these four values in the browser profile or phone set up for that account, and check the exit with the method above.

Prices and limits

A static ISP IP costs US$0.50 for 1 day and US$7.99 for 30 days, about US$0.27 per day, the same in every country. Balances are kept in PTC, and 1 PTC = US$1. Which countries you can buy depends on the order page that day, because stock changes daily. There is no free trial, and the smallest purchase is 1 IP for 1 day. An IP changes only the network exit, not TikTok's rules.

FAQ

Can changing my IP lift a restriction on a TikTok account?

No. An IP changes only the network exit, not the status of the account itself. When an account is restricted, follow TikTok's appeal process.

Should I use a static or a rotating IP to run TikTok accounts?

If the same account needs to sign in repeatedly from the same exit, use a static IP. If you only look at public content and do not log in to an account, use a rotating IP.

How many TikTok accounts can I log in on one IP?

One. Each account should have its own IP, kept in its own browser profile or phone.

How do I confirm the exit is in the right country?

Request https://ipinfo.io/json through the proxy and check that the country field matches the country you bought.
