Residential proxies for your everyday tools
Real household IPs in 195+ countries with state and city targeting. Rotate on every request or keep sticky sessions. From US$1.50/GB, US$1.35/GB at 100 GB. HTTP and SOCKS5.
View options and pricingWhat city, state and country targeting really mean for residential proxies, how far to trust the city, and how to verify an exit before you rely on it.
Country targeting puts the exit in the country you choose. State or region targeting narrows it to a part of that country, and city targeting narrows it further. Each step down asks the exit to match a smaller place, and each step down is a less certain match when you check it from the outside, because the internet's routing does not carry city information. Everything below the country level is read from a lookup service's database.
Every lookup service reads its own database, and each one learns locations differently. In our own test of three public lookup services, they agreed on the country every time and placed the same IP in different cities. The details are in the guide on how to check your proxy's IP, country and ISP. So treat the country field as the anchor and the city field as a best estimate that you confirm yourself.
This means a city exit cannot be promised to match a particular database. What you control is the request: the city you select. What you verify is the result: what a lookup reports when you test the exit.
City targeting is worth the extra care when the page you check changes inside a country: local search results, store-level pages, local ads and promotions. It adds uncertainty without adding value when the page is the same nationwide, such as a national price list, documentation or public filings. For checking that a platform answers from a country, country level is simpler. The platform access by country guide lists our hourly checks of 38 platforms from seven countries.
Request a lookup page through the proxy, for example https://ipinfo.io/json, and read ip, city, region, country and org.
Compare them with what you selected. Expect the country to match. Treat a different city as a reason to look again, not as proof that the exit is wrong.
If the city looks off, run the lookup on a second service before you decide.
Record the lookup result and the time of the check with your data, and work from the verified result, not the requested city.
Rotating residential proxies are the line with state and city targeting. The location selector lists 247 locations. The table below shows seven real exits from our latest hourly check, with the city and network a lookup reported.

Exits seen by the Proxy302 probe at 22 October 2026, 14:18 UTC, one per country, on dynamic residential IPs through the public Proxy302 entry (the check that tests ChatGPT). They show what kind of network and which city a lookup reports; they are not a targeting test and later checks will differ. Only the first three octets of an IP are public.
Open the rotating residential page and choose the line.
Set Exit mode to Choose region / sticky IP, which lets you pick State and City as well as the country, and select the place. Keep Protocol on HTTP, or choose SOCKS5, then click Review cost and generate.
Open My assets and copy HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD. The Connect page shows a ready example with your own endpoint.
Enter the details in your tool and verify the exit with a lookup, as above.
The Budget line costs US$1.50 per GB, US$1.35 per GB in a 100 GB package and US$1.20 per GB at 300 GB. There is no free trial, and the smallest purchase is 1 GB. Static ISP IPs are bought for a country, and the per-GB Fixed ISP exit is a country-level choice only. Which locations are available changes daily.
It asks for an exit that a geolocation database places in the city you selected, so the destination sees an address in that city rather than anywhere in the country.
No. On Proxy302, rotating residential supports state and city targeting on lines that support it. Static ISP IPs and the per-GB Fixed ISP exit are chosen by country.
Lookup services keep separate databases and update them differently, so they can disagree about the same IP. The country field is the reliable one; confirm the city yourself.
Much more often than the city. In our test the three services agreed on the country every time. Still verify each exit with a lookup before you rely on it.
