Private Proxy Servers — Fixed IPs, Honestly Explained | 302Proxy

A private proxy is one address for one buyer. On Proxy302 that is the static ISP line: a residential-grade IP registered with a consumer internet provider, fixed for the whole lease, billed per IP from US$0.50 for one day — with no subscription.

One address, one buyer, one account

Give every account an address of its own. A Proxy302 private proxy is a static ISP IP: registered with a consumer internet provider, residential-grade, and assigned to exactly one buyer. It does not rotate and does not change mid-lease — the same address on day one and on the last day.

The address sits on a consumer provider's network, not on a hosting company's server ranges, so the accounts behind it arrive as ordinary home connections rather than server traffic.

One account per IP is the recommended setup — the point of a fixed IP is that each account has its own.

The names all point to one product

Buyers search for this product under many names — private proxy, private proxy server, fixed-IP proxy, personal proxy. On Proxy302 they all point to one line: static ISP.

Private: on a lease of 30 days or more the address is yours alone, and it stays the same for the whole term. Static: the address does not rotate during the lease. ISP: the IP is registered to a consumer internet provider, which makes it a residential-grade address.

Two things to decide before you generate

Protocol is chosen per IP. When you generate the proxy you pick HTTP or SOCKS5, and the IP then works with that protocol only — HTTP on port 2222, SOCKS5 on port 3333. One IP cannot serve both at once; if you need the other protocol, generate another proxy.

Renewal is in your hands. A lease runs to its end date unless you renew. Auto-renewal is optional and switched off by default — turn it on per IP in My assets, or renew manually before the lease ends. Renewing normally keeps the same IP; when the same address cannot be carried to the new term, the lease moves to another IP in the same country. An IP that expires unrenewed is released.

Connection parameters

SOCKS5 port: 3333

Authentication: Username + password

Protocol: HTTP or SOCKS5 — fixed per IP at generation

Where the credentials live: My assets, per proxy; the Connect page shows a ready example

From zero to your first private IP

  1. Step 1

Create an account and top up the US-dollar wallet — presets start at US$5, and 1 unit of credit equals US$1. No subscription is required.

  2. Step 2

Open the static ISP line in the console and pick a country, a term (1, 3, 7, 30, 60 or 90 days) and the quantity — up to 100 IPs at a time, each charged separately.

  3. Step 3

Choose HTTP or SOCKS5. The console issues the IP together with its username and password, shown in My assets.

  4. Step 4

Point your tool at the HOST shown in My assets, port 2222 (HTTP) or 3333 (SOCKS5), with the issued credentials.

  5. Step 5

Confirm the exit with the command below.

Check the exit from the command line

If you generated the proxy with HTTP, run: curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:2222 https://example.com — replace USERNAME, PASSWORD and HOST with the values shown for your proxy in My assets (the Connect page has a ready example), and point the request at any service that echoes your address to see the exit IP.

If you generated it with SOCKS5, run: curl -x socks5h://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:3333 https://example.com. The trailing h in socks5h:// tells curl to resolve DNS on the proxy side, not on your local machine.

If the connection fails, check in this order: the HOST is the one shown for that proxy in My assets; the port matches the protocol you chose at generation (2222 for HTTP, 3333 for SOCKS5); the username and password are copied exactly from My assets; the lease has not ended — an unrenewed IP stops working on its end date.

Prices per IP

1 day: US$0.50

3 days: US$1.50

7 days: US$3.50

30 days: US$7.99

60 days: US$15.98

90 days: US$23.97

Renewal, limits and the per-GB option

Renewal normally keeps the same IP. Auto-renewal is optional and off by default: switch it on per IP in My assets, or renew manually before the end date. If the same address cannot be carried to the new term, the lease moves to another IP in the same country; an unrenewed IP is released.

Order limits: pick a country, a term and a quantity — up to 100 IPs at a time, each charged separately. Available countries are shown in the console when you generate the proxy, and which countries have IPs in stock can change.

Do not need a reserved address? The same static ISP line can also run per GB: US$3.50 per GB charged from the wallet, free to generate, country choice only. That exit is not a fixed IP and is not reserved for you — it suits short tasks, not account keeping.

There is no free trial; the cheapest way to try the line is one static ISP IP for one day at US$0.50.

When a private IP is the right tool

Use static ISP private IPs when the work is account-shaped: logins that should always arrive from the same address — storefront and marketplace accounts, social profiles, AI and subscription services. The rule of thumb: if a platform should recognize the account, give the account an address it can recognize.

Skip it when the work is volume-shaped: large crawls that want a different IP per request, or one-off geo checks. The dynamic residential line is built for that — a new household IP on every request, or a sticky session when you need one address for a while, billed per GB from US$1.50.

FAQ

What is a private proxy (private proxy server)?

A proxy whose IP is assigned to a single buyer. On Proxy302 that is a static ISP address: registered with a consumer internet provider, residential-grade, and yours alone for the whole lease. You connect with username–password auth through the HOST shown for the proxy in My assets, on port 2222 (HTTP) or 3333 (SOCKS5) — whichever you picked at generation.

What is the difference between a private proxy and a shared proxy?

Exclusivity. A shared proxy hands the same address to several users at once, so its reputation depends on what all of them do over it. A private proxy gives you sole use of the address for the lease (on Proxy302, leases of 30 days or more). The Proxy302 catalog has no shared-proxy product — it sells rotating residential, static ISP and datacenter lines.

Is a private proxy the same as a fixed IP?

In practice, yes: private and dedicated both describe an IP reserved for one buyer. On Proxy302 that product is the static ISP line, and the mapping is one-to-one — one IP, one buyer, one account on leases of 30 days or more.

Can one private IP use both HTTP and SOCKS5?

No. The protocol is fixed when you generate the proxy: one IP runs HTTP (port 2222) or SOCKS5 (port 3333), not both. If another tool needs the other protocol, generate a second proxy.

Will I keep the same IP when I renew?

Normally, yes: renewing before the end date keeps the same address, and if it cannot be carried over, the lease moves to another IP in the same country. Auto-renewal is optional and off by default — switch it on per IP in My assets, or watch the end date and renew manually.

How much does a private proxy cost?

Static ISP private IPs are billed per IP per term: US$0.50 for 1 day up to US$23.97 for 90 days, the same for every country (pricing page, 28 October 2026). There is no subscription — you pay per IP per term.
