What Octo Browser is and why pair it with a proxy
Octo Browser is an antidetect browser (it makes each account look like it runs on its own computer). Each profile uses its own proxy IP, and Proxy302 supplies that IP.
Each account should use its own IP address instead of sharing one with others. Proxy302 supplies that IP (over HTTP or SOCKS5), and you only enter a few details: host, port, username and password.
Set up Proxy302 in Octo Browser
Generate the proxy in Proxy302
Choose the proxy type, country and protocol in the Proxy302 console, then copy host, port, username and password from My assets.
Open the proxy manager
Octo Browser keeps proxies in a proxy manager. Open it and add a proxy.
Add one proxy
Choose the protocol (Octo Browser supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5 and SSH), then enter host, port, login and password and run the proxy check.
Or add many at once
Use bulk add and paste one proxy per line. Octo Browser accepts protocol://ip:port, protocol://login:password:ip:port, protocol://login:password@ip:port and protocol://ip:port:login:password. Lines in the wrong format are flagged as errors.
Attach it to a profile
Select the saved proxy in the profile, launch it and compare the IP at ipinfo.io with your Proxy302 IP.
