Cheap Residential Proxies From $1.50/GB | Proxy302

Cut what you pay for residential traffic: buy exactly 1 GB for US$1.50 on the Budget line, pay per GB with no subscription, keep unused traffic forever, and scale down to US$1.124/GB at 500 GB. Every number on this page is checkable: ours come straight from our pricing page, and every competitor number links to the vendor pricing page it was read from, with the date we read it.

Why you can check every number here

From US$1.50/GB — Budget line list price, down to US$1.124/GB at 500 GB.

1 GB minimum — the cheapest possible entry is US$1.50, one time.

Prepaid per GB — no subscription; you buy whole gigabytes or a package and spend them when you want.

Purchased traffic never expires — buy once, draw it down whenever.

How to compare cheap residential proxies without getting fooled

The only honest way to find the cheapest residential proxy is to compare four numbers per vendor, not the headline in the ad:

1. List price per GB at your volume. Entry rates drop fast with commitments; some cheap rates only exist on monthly plans.

2. Minimum purchase. A great per-GB rate with a 15 GB minimum, a US$30/month plan or a US$499/month plan is not cheap if you need 2 GB.

3. Billing model. Pay-as-you-go versus subscription: a monthly plan converts your cheap rate into a fixed cost whether you use the GB or not. Oxylabs, for example, sells residential proxies on subscription plans only, from US$30/month.

4. What's included. The per-GB rate is not always the whole price. DataImpulse's residential proxies page states "Geo-targeting is included – no extra fee for the country targeting", while its plan comparison marks city, ASN and ZIP targeting with "*extra costs". Multiply the headline rate by what you will actually pay.

Not a ranking: rows after ours are alphabetical, and we have not run side-by-side success-rate tests on any competitor network, so we claim none. How to read the table

At small volumes, the cheapest residential proxy by list price is the one with a low per-GB rate and a small minimum: DataImpulse at US$1 per gigabyte with a US$5 entry, Evomi at US$0.99 per gigabyte but from 15 GB (about US$14.85), or our Budget line at US$1.50/GB from a single US$1.50 gigabyte.

At hundreds of GB, tier math takes over. Our Budget line reaches US$1.20/GB at 300 GB and US$1.124/GB at 500 GB with no subscription attached to any of it. Evomi's pay-as-you-go rate drops to US$0.79 per gigabyte only from 1,000 GB, DataImpulse's US$0.80 per gigabyte sits on a US$800 tier, IPRoyal's US$1.84 per gigabyte starts at 10 TB, and Bright Data's cheapest monthly rate (US$3.00 per gigabyte) starts at a US$999/month plan (332 GB). Oxylabs has no pay-as-you-go tier at all: entry is US$30/month.

When Budget is enough — and when it isn't

Budget is the cheap residential line, and for most cost-sensitive work it is the one to start with. The exception is target-dependent: some targets block the Budget line.

If that happens with the sites you work with, Premium is the line rated for them — US$5.00/GB from 1 GB, so you can test a target before buying a package. That is the whole selection rule, and we do not promise success rates beyond it.

A practical path: start with 1 GB of Budget (US$1.50), test the exact sites you need, and move to Premium only if your targets say you must.

The cheapest possible test: 1 GB for US$1.50

You do not need a plan to evaluate us — one gigabyte on Budget costs US$1.50 and never expires. After purchase, take the gateway credentials from My assets and test from your machine:

curl -x http://USERNAME:[email protected]:2222 https://httpbin.org/ip (HTTP proxy)

curl -x socks5h://USERNAME:[email protected]:3333 https://httpbin.org/ip (SOCKS5 proxy; socks5h:// resolves DNS on the proxy side)

Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your Proxy302 credentials. Gateway: proxy.proxy302.com, HTTP port 2222, SOCKS5 port 3333, username + password authentication. A handful of requests like this consumes kilobytes of your gigabyte — the rest stays in your balance with no expiry date.

Looking for cheap rotating proxies?

Both of our residential lines are dynamic residential lines, which is the rotating side of our catalog: each request goes through a different real household IP, and a sticky session can hold one residential IP across a sequence of requests. Both lines work over HTTP and SOCKS5, with country, state and city targeting.

If you searched for a cheap rotating proxy or cheap rotating residential proxies, Budget at US$1.50/GB is the line to look at.

FAQ

What is the cheapest residential proxy?

By public list price with a small minimum, as of 28 October 2026: DataImpulse at US$1 per gigabyte (US$5 for the 5 GB intro), Evomi at US$0.99 per gigabyte pay-as-you-go (minimum 15 GB), and Proxy302 Budget at US$1.50/GB (minimum 1 GB, i.e. US$1.50 total). Which one is cheapest for you depends on volume: at 500 GB our Budget tier is US$1.124/GB with no subscription, while Evomi's pay-as-you-go rate drops to US$0.79 per gigabyte only from 1,000 GB, DataImpulse's US$0.80 per gigabyte sits on a US$800 tier, and IPRoyal's US$1.84 per gigabyte starts at 10 TB. All figures come from the vendor pricing pages cited in the table above, not from roundup articles.

How much does a residential proxy cost?

Across the pricing pages we checked on 28 October 2026, residential per-GB list prices run from US$0.49 (Evomi, 100 GB monthly plan) up to US$8.00 (Bright Data pay-as-you-go list price; US$4.00 under its current promo code). Ours: Budget US$1.50/GB list and US$1.124/GB at 500 GB; Premium US$5.00/GB list and US$4.25/GB at 300 GB; 1 GB minimum; prepaid per GB; no subscription; purchased traffic never expires.

What is the minimum I can buy?

1 GB. On the Budget line that means the smallest possible purchase is US$1.50 — low enough to test before committing to any volume tier.

Do I need a subscription? Does my traffic expire?

No subscription. Billing is prepaid per GB, and purchased traffic never expires — the gigabytes you buy sit in your balance until you use them. The pricing page shows prepaid traffic as "No expiry".

Can I use these as cheap rotating proxies?

Yes. Both residential lines are dynamic: each request goes through a different real household IP, and a sticky session can hold one residential IP across a sequence of requests. Budget at US$1.50/GB is the cheap option; Premium at US$5.00/GB is the line for targets that block Budget. Both work over HTTP and SOCKS5.

When should I pay for Premium instead of Budget?

When your targets block the Budget line. Premium is the line rated for them — US$5.00/GB from 1 GB is enough to test a target before a package. We do not publish success-rate comparisons, so the honest test is the US$1.50 Budget gigabyte first, then Premium only if the target requires it.
